Known as one of the most popular miniature daffodil varieties, the Narcissus ‘T?te-?-T?te’ is a bona fide British favourite.
These display beautiful bright-yellow blooms from February through to April, and are ideal to be planted in pots, in containers or at the front of beds and borders, to set a colourful tone for the rest of the display.
Fully hardy and vigorous, the bulbs will naturalise easily if planted in the ground, yielding bigger and better clumps each year.
Having a deliciously sweet scent, it makes a superb cut flower, so be sure to plant enough to fill your vases many times over.
Supplied as a pack of 30 bulbs ready for immediate planting.
Top Tips
- Which way up? Usually pointy end upwards, but if you are not sure, plant the bulb on its side and it will eventually right itself.
- Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots before planting to encourage faster and more reliable establishment.
- For long-lasting cut flowers, soak stems in warm water before placing in your vase.
Care Guide
Planting Advice for your bulbs:
- It is best to get your bulbs in the ground as soon as you can so that they can establish a good root system before the weather becomes too cold.
- Please check the bag for any additional planting instructions.
- Plant ‘T?te-?-T?te’ bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10cm apart.
- They are fine to plant even if a little green growth is showing; they will just need a good watering when you plant them, and thereafter only when the soil is dry.
- Leave them in the ground once they die back ? they will come back bigger and better each year.
- While all the energy that a bulb needs in order to grow is stored in the bulb itself, they will do better if you feed them when in active green growth.
- Plant in herbaceous borders, in pots, or leave in the ground to naturalise.
Aftercare Advice for your bulbs:
- Water frequently and if in pots, ensure that the compost doesn’t dry out.
