Hardy Geranium Collection

This collection of Hardy Geraniums will make a beautiful addition to your summer garden.

Commonly known as ‘Cranesbill’ geraniums, they are some of the easiest of hardy perennials you can grow as they are very low maintenance and ideal for most growing conditions, sun, or shade, wet or dry, pots or straight in the ground.

Flowering from later spring through to the autumn, they will produce neat and tidy foliage that becomes smothered it beautiful blooms that are adored by beneficial wildlife.

A must have for every garden, they are supplied as a pack of 5 bare root plants (dormant in winter).

Top Tips

Snip off faded flowers at the base or shear the tops of the plants back to new growth in order to stimulate reblooming and freshen the foliage.

Care Guide

• Before planting, prepare the soil by digging over and removing any weeds. Incorporate some well-rotted manure to enrich the soil if necessary.
• Dig a hole a few inches wider and deeper than the roots. Fill the hole with water and let it completely drain into the soil. Then create a soil mound in the centre of the hole and set the roots on top, spreading them evenly around the mound.
• Firm back around the soil, using your hand for small clumps and your heel on larger areas.
• Water in well to settle the soil and prevent desiccation.
