Osteospermum ‘Purple Sun’ will fill your garden with bright and bold daisy-like blooms that are guaranteed to light up your summer displays. With a uniformed and compact growing habit, these gorgeous flowers will fill your beds and borders from spring right through to autumn. Producing a wonderful combination of colours, the apricot and lilac petals contrast effortlessly against the green foliage to create a spectacular display. Easy to grow, it will tolerate light frost as well as heat and drought and need very little in the way of attention or maintenance. • Plant approx. 20cm (8in) apart to allow them room to grow.
• Feed using a high-potash feed such as Blooming Fast Superior Soluble Fertiliser for Flowers & Fruits, to encourage flowering.
• Dead head when flowers fade to encourage more flowers.
• Remember that plants are frost tender and should be protected from frost at all times.
• Best treated as an annual or alternatively grow in pots which you can move indoors in autumn.
